Southeastern Correctional Complex 2017 Embark Jewelry Sell

The Southeastern Correctional Complex hosted their first staff/offender Embark Kindway Jewelry Sell, which fostered sells to the amount of $1,700.   The sale took place in the gymnasium and lasted all day.  Offenders were able to shop for specific jewelry gift items for friends and family outside the institution.  All gift items were packaged up by the Embark Program staff members and will be mailed out just in time for the Christmas holiday season.  All jewelry pieces were made by the offenders at Ohio Reformatory for Women and the Marion Correction Institution who are currently taking part in the Embark Reentry Program.  All proceeds from this sale will go back to help the program.   DWO Rochelle Moore stated, “It’s always nice to allow offenders to give back to those loved ones who have continued to support them through their incarceration!"
