5 October Homeless Mat Project at GRC October 5, 2017 By ODRC Grafton Correctional Institution (GCI), Grafton Reintegration Center (GRC), Institutions GRC, Therapeutic Community, Homeless Mat Project, St. Ignatius Catholic High School 0 The Homeless Mat Project is a community service collaboration between the GRC’s Therapeutic Community, Grafton Residents Activity Group (GRAG) and a Food for the Homeless Project operated from St. Ignatius Catholic High School. The mats are transported to St. Ignatius, packaged with food boxes and distributed to homeless citizens in the Cleveland Metropolitan area. The Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (DRC) endorsed this enterprise project by purchasing the thin clients, servers and security peripherals recommended by DAS. The Bureau of Information and Technology Services (BITS) partnered with the Ohio Central School System (OCSS) to secure applications, expand programming and reduce risk statewide.
