9 August Go Home "2" Stay at GCI August 9, 2018 By ODRC Grafton Correctional Institution (GCI), Institutions GCI, Go Home , Salvation Army, Community Service, Planet Aid, Judge Russo 0 The Go Home “2” Stay Home offender group at Grafton Correctional Institution focuses on providing returning offenders a hand up to succeed on their return to society. Vouchers from Salvation Army, Community Service hours for the work they do for Planet Aid, Rally’s hamburger coupons and a connection with reentry courts in Summit and Cuyahoga counties. The group held a recognition event hosting Judges from Cuyahoga County, and Summit County with their staff, leadership from Planet Aid and the Salvation Army and management from the region and institution to share their appreciation for the support and cooperation to make for a successful reentry. Judge Russo spoke regarding the efforts in the community and her courtroom and shared the opportunity for more returning citizens to participate.
