Mike Swiger arranged for Chef Kyle Anderson to give the group a tour of the Marble Room restaurant, located in the Former National City Bank Building. The Marble Room is a WTE site where two&amp;nbsp;residents are currently enrolled in training and where three&amp;nbsp;former residents are currently employed, hired shortly after their releases. The group also made a stop at Cuyahoga County Administrative Services Virgil Brown Building and Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries (LMM) where Director Hudson met with Andrew D. Genszler, the President and CEO of LMM who provided a tour and explanation of the many community enhancement initiatives underway through LMM. Warden Brande Harris will be the Warden at Trumbull Correctional Institution&amp;nbsp;and Warden Bracy will take charge at NERC on the same day.&lt;/p&gt;

They wanted to highlight many of the cost savings initiatives, energy reduction initiatives, and green initiatives that have been put in place through and by NERC Maintenance Superintendent James Monyak, who incidentally was the ODRC Employee of the Year in 2017.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Warden Brande Harris was more than willing to open up the facility, provide a tour and on-site review of how we are saving Ohioans money in every way possible, while exploring ways to expand on those savings.&lt;/p&gt;

The event was sponsored by Community Partner Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries and the Cleveland Browns, both of whom have made a commitment to Director Mohr and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction to assist our agency in it recidivism reduction efforts.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Director Mohr stated &amp;ldquo;I&amp;rsquo;m very excited to have the Cleveland Browns on board to help us in tackling the issues that need addressed in Criminal Justice and prison reform in Ohio&amp;rdquo;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Attending in support of Director Mohr were Ohio Parole Board Chairwoman Cynthia Mausser, NE Regional Director Todd Ishee, NERC Warden Brande Harris, Deputy Warden Brian Evans, Warden&amp;rsquo;s Assistant Jeff Bertram, and two&amp;nbsp;NERC residents who are participants in the LMM Chopping for Change Program. All of the ODRC attendees paused for a photo with Cleveland Browns Owner Jimmy Haslam and his wife Dee Haslam.&lt;/p&gt;
