OPI FURNITURE DREAM TEAM

Ohio Penal Industries (1996)

State planners (OPI customers) representing 58% if OPI’s furniture business were interviewed to determine their expectations. The customers expected quality contemporary-styled furniture that allowed for lay out options. The team used a number of quality tools to fashion a plan that would meet customer requirements. The Vision Series 5000 was prototyped. The series offered the design concepts planners desired and was refined as they requested.
