Ross Correctional Institution Inmate Apprehended Following Walkaway

Authorities at the Ross Correctional Institution (RCI) confirmed that the minimum security offender who walked away from his work assignment at the Ross Correctional farm earlier this morning was apprehended by the Ross County Sheriff's Department at 2:35 p.m.  Jeffrey Holsinger was apprehended on County Road 550, just east of Frankfort, Ohio.

Holsinger was returned to the Ross Correctional Institution and is currently assigned to the security control unit inside of the Ross Correctional Institution.  An investigation is being conducted to determine criminal charges to be filed against Holsinger.
