Each state employee who chooses medical coverage will be enrolled in the Ohio Med PPO plan. The plan is managed by two third-party administrators (TPAs): Medical Mutual of Ohio (MMO) and UnitedHealthcare (UHC). The two TPAs are responsible for covering separate regions throughout the state, based on the first 3 digits of your home Ohio ZIP codes.
Benefits Enrollment Instructions:
There are two ways that you can enroll in medical coverage. You can enroll online through self-service or you can obtain paper form from your personnel office. Enrollment in either manner must be completed within 31 days of your date of hire.
