NEW WARDEN AT PICKAWAY CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION
(Columbus)Today Reginald A. Wilkinson, Director of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (DRC), announced the appointment of Mohammad A. Chaudhry as Warden at the Pickaway Correctional Institution (PCI).
Chaudry, 52, a 20-year corrections professional began his career as a teacher at the Lebanon Correctional Institution. He has worked his way up through the ranks with his most recent position as Deputy Warden of Operations, at the Madison Correctional Institution. Chaudry has a Bachelors Degree in English and Economics from Ponjah University, Lahore, Pakistan and a Masters Degree in History from Ponjah University. He also obtained a Bachelors Degree from the University of Cincinnati in Information Processing Systems.
Chaudry replaces Dianne Walker, who served as Warden at PCI since 1997. Walkers new assignment will be with DRCs Division of Business Administration. She will be responsible for special projects and quality assurance efforts for the Office of Administration. These personnel changes will be effective November 15, 1999.
