Execution of Inmate John Fautenberry #279-989

(Columbus)- Officials at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (DRC) have confirmed that inmate John Fautenberry, #279-989, is scheduled for execution on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. The execution will take place at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility located in Lucasville, Ohio. The Ohio Revised Code mandates lethal injection as the manner of execution.

Fautenberry was convicted and sentenced to death for the 1991 Aggravated Murder of Joseph Daron, Jr. out of Hamilton County.
