Inmate Scott Mink Execution

(Columbus) – Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction authorities have confirmed that inmate Scott Mink is scheduled for execution on Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at 10:00 a.m.  The execution will take place at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility located in Lucasville, Ohio.  The Ohio Revised Code mandates lethal injection as the manner of execution.

Mink was convicted and sentenced to death for the aggravated murders of his parents, William Mink, age 79, and Shelia Mink, age 72 in September of 2000.
