Execution Scheduled for Ernest Martin

(Columbus)--- The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction has confirmed that inmate Ernest Martin (174-878) is scheduled for execution on Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville, Ohio.  The Ohio Revised Code mandates the manner of execution to be lethal injection.

Inmate Martin was convicted and sentenced to death out of Cuyahoga County for the 1983 murder of Robert Robertson.
