Clemency Hearing Scheduled for Richard Cooey

(Columbus) – The Ohio Parole Board has scheduled the clemency hearing for Richard Wade Cooey (#194016).  The hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2003, at the Adult Parole Authority Office located at 1030 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, Ohio.  The hearing will begin at 10:00 a.m.  Cooey is scheduled for execution on Thursday, July 24, 2003, for the murders of Wendy Offredo, 21, and Dawn McCreery, 20, of Summit County.
