(Columbus)
– The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (DRC), in partnership
with Talbert House, will hold the official ribbon cutting ceremony of the Turtle
Creek Center on Monday, December 2, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. in Lebanon.
State and local officials will be joining DRC Director Reginald A.
Wilkinson for the ceremony.
The
Turtle Creek Center, a 72-bed facility, will provide southwestern Ohio counties
with a sentencing alternative to incarceration for adult felony offenders.
Offenders placed at the Turtle Creek Center will remain close to home and
continue to work to support their families, pay court costs and provide
restitution to their victims.
