The mission of the Adult Parole Authority is to protect the public from violence and other crime through the building and sharing of offender information with victims, the courts and other criminal justice agencies, and to provide supervision of offenders who are in the community, utilizing strategies aimed at rehabilitation, incapacitation, and when necessary, punishment.

Unique Programs

The Mansfield Region is currently in partnership with the Richland County Common Please Court and has established the only Re-Entry Court in the state. Through this partnership, offenders that are sentenced out of or returning to Richland County can be designated by the courts for placement into this program.
