The Chillicothe Regional Adult Parole Authority (APA) has actively embraced the Community Justice initiative. The Chillicothe APA regularly sponsors activities which allow offenders to positively interact in their local community. The offenders at the Alvis House in Chillicothe organized a community picnic. The picnic was a huge Community Justice success, allowing the offenders to better understand how their criminal behavior negatively impacts their neighbors, children in the community and many others. The picnic also gave the offenders an opportunity to allow the community see them in a positive light.
The
Chillicothe Region has developed some non-traditional partners.
