Female staff members, past and present, donated items to benefit the residents of domestic violence shelters in three counties in Southeast Ohio. Gift bags containing bath and body items, an inspirational bookmark and a small gift were given to remind each recipient that people care about them and to help raise their spirits. Donations of toilet paper and paper towels were distributed to each shelter. NCI also collected items from staff for the Meals on Wheels program. Donations of soup, crackers, candy, soap and fabric softener benefit sixty-five senior citizens in Noble County. This was a continuation of the Adopt a Grandparent program that the Victim Coordinators started at NCI.
