28 February Black History Art Exhibit at WCI February 28, 2018 By ODRC Institutions, Warren Correctional Institution (WCI) WCI, Black History, Art Exhibit, Gregory McLendon II, Longevity Media Group 0 WCI held it's 3rd Annual Black History Art Exhibit in the WCI visiting room. Special guest Gregory McLendon II of Longevity Media Group spoke to the audience about developing their talents while incarcerated. He emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and education inside the prison walls through all possible means. First Place was awarded to offender Michael Stolzenburg’s picture of Rosa Parks and Malcolm X Second Place was awarded to offender Samuel Kabakoff’s picture of Frederick Douglass Third Place was awarded to offender Phillip Sharpe Jr’s picture of an Angelic War All participants received a certificate of participation.
