Group, Eyes of Freedom Memorial, Union County Military Family Support Group 0 The Ohio Reformatory for Women held a Veterans recognition ceremony honoring all those who served. The keynote speaker was our very Northwest Region Operations Manager, Mike Meintel (Retired Major-Army). Mr. Meintel spoke about the impact PTSD has on veterans; by sharing the story of SFC James Blake. Mr. Meintel along with the several offenders of the military veterans G.I.V.E. group completed the 22-push-up challenge in SFC James Blake’s honor. The inmate G.I.V.E. Group also presented the Eyes of Freedom Memorial and Union County Military Family support groups with a monetary donation of $895.00 each.
