14 December NCI’s Victim Awareness Program Gives Back to Local Community December 14, 2017 By ODRC Institutions, Noble Correctional Institution (NCI) NCI, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Haven of Hope, Purple Balloons 0 Noble Correctional Institution’s Victim Coordinators orchestrated several activities during October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Purple balloons were sold to staff members to benefit the Haven of Hope, a domestic violence agency in Cambridge, Ohio. For each one sold, a paper balloon was displayed in front entry and the actual balloons were launched from inside NCI at the end of the month. A collection box was also placed in front entry for staff to drop off requested items. The needed supplies and money donated were delivered by NCI’s Victim Coordinators to the Haven of Hope.
