12 December Soup and Sandwich Sale at PCI December 12, 2017 By ODRC Institutions, Pickaway Correctional Institution (PCI) PCI, Soup, Sandwich, Women in Corrections, Village of Darbyville, Fruit and Vegetables, Mayor Philip Tramel 0 The Pickaway Correctional Institution’s (PCI) Women in Corrections team (WIC) raised $271.00 from their Soup and Sandwich sale and donated the total amount to The Village of Darbyville. Darbyville, located about 10 minutes South of PCI. recently had been receiving fruit and vegetable donations. However, they were informed that those donations had to be cut in half as many local resources have been diverted to assist hurricane victims. Mr. Philip Tramel, Mayor of the Village of Darbyville, has expressed his concern of the shortages they are facing for their residents this holiday season. The village was also informed that they would not be receiving the turkeys they expected to receive for Thanksgiving due to the same reason. With that in mind, the PCI WIC rose to the occasion in an effort to assist the village.
