30 November Hand Puppets Made by Offenders at CCI November 30, 2017 By ODRC Chillicothe Correctional Institution (CCI), Institutions CCI, L.I.F.E. Program, Helping Hands Group, Puppets, Curtain Climb, Foster Children 0 In an effort to give back to the community, men from the L.I.F.E. program and the Helping Hands group at the Chillicothe Correctional Institution have joined forces and are spending their time creating hand puppets for foster children in the community. Each hand puppet is carefully crafted by hand and will be given to the foster children at the Curtain Climber party. This great program is being overseen by Michelle Belford, case manager and Sgt. Doug Mougey. As stated by one of the men in the group, “This is a great way for us to be able to give back to the community and it helps to get us in the holiday spirit”. A huge thank you to all involved in this great project!
