27 October CRC Recovery Services Ceremony October 27, 2017 By ODRC Correctional Reception Center, Institutions CRC, Recovery Services, Completion Ceremony, Six Months, Mental Health and Addiction Services, Henry Robinson 0 CRC Recovery Services held a Completion Ceremony for those offenders that completed the six month long Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT) program. The Mental Health and Addiction Services staff, along with Rehabilitation and Corrections staff at CRC worked side by side to coordinate and instill an environment that is conducive to offenders having the time, space and resources to make the right choices to attend and complete this intensive program that is intended to help individuals to live a pro-social life with positive outcomes. Outside speakers and volunteers also participate as appropriate to help the men achieve. The guest speaker for this ceremony focused on dedication, determination and separation as the pillars of his speech. Mr. Henry Robinson LISW, LICDC was the facilitator for this particular group and has been conducting CBT groups over six years now. He reported, "It was intense at times, but the men were persistent and did indeed achieve the goal of program completion. Family members attended this important event as well. We congratulate these men and the men and women throughout Ohio making this right choice to make different choices, to change.
