13 September Director Awards NERC's Jim Monyak ODRC Employee of the Year 2017 September 13, 2017 By ODRC Institutions, Northeast Reintegration Center (NERC) Jim Monyak, Employee of the Year, Director Mohr, Food Service Renovation 0 Director Gary Mohr took time at the beginning of the NE Region Back 2 Basics Showcase held at the Richfield OPOTA Facility to award NERC Maintenance Superintendent Jim Monyak with the ODRC Employee of the Year 2017 Award. Jim Monyak was recognized for his high level of professionalism displayed throughout a complex Food Service total renovation that took place at NERC. The renovation included everything from total plumbing beneath grade, electrical, vitalization, and total roof replacement. Monyak worked tirelessly throughout the renovation ensuring contractor compliance with contracted construction specifications, as well as, ensuring that his small staff kept up with routine and preventative maintenance requirements throughout the facility while also initiating a massive coax and fiber-optic HOPE Channel infrastructure installation! Jim Monyak was joined at the award ceremony by his wife, Mary, and several NERC and Northeast Regional prison and APA Representatives and leaders.
