Brandon Savage, Impact Award 0 Noble Correctional Institution Warden Buchanan presented Correction Officer Brandon Savage a DRC Impact Award for his response when his partner was assaulted and placed in a choke hold. Officer Savage went to check on his partner and saw the assault taking place. CO Savage activated his man down alarm and delivered several Defensive Tactics and Subject Control (DTSC) measures to the inmate in an attempt to get him to release the choke hold on the Officer. Due to CO Savage's quick and appropriate response, the inmate finally released the Officer from the choke hold. CO Savage and his partner then placed the inmate in handcuffs and escorted him to the front of the dorm.
