18 August 2016 Court and Community Parole Officer of the Year August 18, 2017 By ODRC Columbus Adult Parole Authority Adult Parole Authority, Kyle Jackson, Parole Officer of the Year, Justice Involved Young Adult Grant 0 Officer Jackson in his short career with the Adult Parole Authority has set a standard for Parole Officers to follow. His knowledge of policy and attention to detail make him a pleasure to manage. PO Jackson is also an excellent teammate within Columbus Unit 4 and throughout the Columbus Region. Kyle is always available to assist other officers with arrests, searches or just about anything that falls under the duties of a Parole Officer. In addition to Kyle’s daily activities he also facilitates Thinking for a Change at the Columbus Office as well as volunteers as a victim’s advocate. This year PO Jackson has been selected to participate in the Justice Involved Young Adult Grant which deals with supervising high risk youthful offenders in an effort to reduce recidivism. On several occasions, Kyle has been asked to represent the department to special interest groups who desire information about the inner workings of the Adult Parole Authority and department policies. PO Jackson is self-motivated, displays strong work ethic and professionalism that merits recognition.
