Noble Correctional Carpentry Class Constructs Putt-Putt Course For 4-H

Noble Correctional Carpentry Class Constructs Putt-Putt Course For 4-H

The Carpentry class at Noble Correctional Institution recently constructed a 9-hole putt-putt golf course as a community service project for the Washington County 4-H Committee. The course will be placed at Camp Hervida in Waterford, Ohio. This camp is utilized by Washington County 4-H members during camp week. Mr. Bruce Zimmer, OSU Extension Agent for Washington County, worked with NCI’s Carpentry Instructor, Mr. Blackstone, to arrange the project. The Carpentry class had 63 hours in the construction of the course. The Carpentry class completes several community service projects for non-profit organizations each year.
