8 May ODRC's Employee of the Month May 8, 2017 By ODRC Institutions, Southern Ohio Correctional Facility (SOCF) SOCF, Michael Anderson, Thinking for a Change, Money Smart, Inside Out Dad, U.S. Army Veteran 0 Michael Anderson currently works as the Case Manager at SOCF, he oversees programming for inmates in general population. Michael offers programming for the 4A Privilege Unit offenders, utilizing "Thinking for a Change", "Money Smart" and "Inside Out Dad". He hopes that with effective and efficient programming it will greatly increase their chances of returning back to a General Population setting at Level 3 Security or back into society, whichever comes first. Michael has been a member of the Crisis Response Team for the last six years. He is also a Veteran of the U.S. Army and works with the SOCF Veterans group assisting SOCF employees who are also Veterans in the process of applying for and receiving educational and medical assistance through the Department of Veteran Affairs. His experience and knowledge have proven to be an asset to Unit Management, the warden, the staff and offenders at SOCF.
