20 September Trumbull Correctional Institution (TCI) Welcomes Bill Glass Behind the Walls September 20, 2016 By ODRC Institutions, Trumbull Correctional Institution TCI, Bill Glass, Behind the Walls, Christian Fellowship 0 The Bill Glass Behind the Walls Program visited Trumbull Correctional Institution (TCI) for two days. Approximately 50 volunteers entered the prison to meet with the inmates for Christian Fellowship. The event started with motorcyclists revving their engines on the perimeter roads. This site captured the attention of all the inmates as it was such an unusual site. Volunteers held activities such as hula hoop, performed on unicycles and impressed them with juggling acts. About 150 Inmates were present at the camp and the main recreation areas for the event. The volunteers spoke candidly about their stories and why they were there. A few volunteers also visited the Restricted and Limited Privilege Housing units to spread the word and talk to anyone who would listen. Both days were busy and the volunteers left inspired by the inmates.
