28 February Trumbull Correctional Camp Community Service and Family February 28, 2017 By ODRC Institutions, Trumbull Correctional Institution TCC, Bead Program, Mahoning Valley HOPE Cener, Necklaces, Bracelets, Community Service 0 In the spirit of strengthening family, Trumbull Correctional Camp held a family visitation “after hours” from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The offenders and their families worked on the “Bead Program”. The “Bead Program” is the making of necklaces and bracelets out of beads that are donated to the Mahoning Valley HOPE Center located in Warren, Ohio. The HOPE Center uses these donations for programs they sponsor in their community outreach. Staff track the community services hour’s offenders accumulate. In turn, offenders have the opportunity to submit a motion to the courts to pay off their fines via community service hours completed.
