7 February IN2WORK Participants Graduate at TCI February 7, 2017 By ODRC Institutions, Trumbull Correctional Institution TCI, Warden Bracy, In2Work, Aramark 0 After several months of training and hard work, the men of the IN2WORK Program graduated and were congratulated by Warden Bracy. IN2WORK is food service program provided by Aramark. It involves classroom training, hands on experience and certifies the students in ServSafe. One student commented, “It wasn’t like school and I looked forward to going. I would definitely recommend this class”. He reported homework was challenging because of distractions in the unit but, “I never wanted to disappoint the teacher”. He stated working in the kitchen helped him to use everything he was taught. Aramark stated that had approximately 170 graduates across the state this year. Five new graduates celebrated with families and a meal prepared and served by priors IN2WORK graduates.
