17 November ORW Hosts Reentry/Resource Fair November 17, 2016 By ODRC Institutions, Ohio Reformatory for Women (ORW) ORW, Reentry, Resource Fair, Community Partners, Warden Burkes 0 The Ohio Reformatory for Women hosted their annual Reentry resource/job fair. During the event the offenders had the opportunity to network and obtain community resources that will potentially assist them with their reentry needs back into their Ohio communities where they will live and work. Some of the opportunities that could assist the offenders during the Reentry resource fair was: financial planning, educational opportunities for college and skilled trades, drug and alcohol continued care, understanding conditions of supervision with the adult parole authority, ODOT, Goodwill and Salvation Army, to name a few. A total of 43 Community partners were represented from all over the Buckeye state and they spoke with and assisted over 1,700 offenders that took advantage of the resource fair. A big thank you to all the community partners that came to the event. Thank you to Warden Burkes and all of her staff for making this event happen.
